The Dream Center is a hub of activity for our community. Our dream is to create a sense of belonging within our community so that we can inspire, develop, train, and advocate for children, students, and families in Alamance County.
We first opened our doors formally known as Pulse Dream Center in November of 2015. In January of 2018, we opened our new space at 1423 North Church Street. The Dream Center was started as a dream for a community center to serve diverse children, students, and families in Alamance County. We began as the outreach arm of CityGate Church and officially became a non-profit organization in 2018.
Since 2018, we have developed partnerships with Alamance Community College and offer ESL and computer classes weekly. We yearly host 2 Love My City Giveaways of clothing, furniture, food, and more for the community. We partner with several local schools to provide resources and build relationships with students, offer free weekly dance classes, fitness classes, music and art classes, tutoring, summer camps, and more.
The Dream Center is ultimately a hub of activity for our community. We are here to serve Alamance County and inspire, train, educate, and advocate for its’ members. We look forward to what awesome things are to come.
